In our experience Redbubble is one of the easiest PODs to set up shop. This means you can use it as a storefront to display your designs. In this blog I will teach you how to quickly set up Redbubble to use as a portfolio for Merch by Amazon.

The reason why you need to put together a portfolio is so you can show Amazon the work that you’ve done. Here’s why you should follow these steps.

We have found that Redbubble is one of the most time efficient ways to put together a portfolio. In our experience we have used Redbubble as a site to host our portfolio. It is the quickest way we’ve found and the cheapest way to get your application finalised. All you need to do is create a Redbubble account to upload designs, upload your designs and link the store. It is that easy.
Step 1. Go on Redbubble
Redbubble website – https://www.redbubble.com/
You will see this screen.
Step 2. Click on Sign Up
This will be found at the top right hand of the screen.
A details section will appear.
Step 3. Fill out your details
Once you’ve clicked sign up you will then see this screen above. It will then ask you to fill out the following details.
- Email (Your email address)
- Username (Username you choose for your account)
- Password (Your chosen password)
Step 4. Click on Sign Up Now
You will then be directed to a page with today’s picks. Now follow the next step.
Step 5. Click the icon at the top right of your screen and a drop down will appear.
The drop down will look the screen below.
Step 6. Click on Add new work
Once you’ve clicked on “Add new work” it’s now time to upload your designs
Step 7. Upload your design
From here we will click on upload to all products
Once you’ve clicked on upload to all products, search for the design file you will upload. I’ve already uploaded one as an example.
You will then be directed to this menu where you can choose the merchandise which holds your designs. You can now configure the settings for your merchandise.
Step 8. Configure your settings for your merchandise.
Make sure you scroll down and list your work as public. Also make sure that you have rights to sell products containing your artwork. From here, click on “Save Work.”
You will now have available products for your profile
Step 9. Upload more work until you’re satisfied
Now that you know how to upload your work, upload as many designs as you can until you’re satisfied that you’ve uploaded enough for your portfolio.
Step 10. Know your link.
Your link will be based on your username. Here’s what it would look like.
The reason why you need to know your link is so you can then link your account to your Merch by Amazon application.
